Fun social go kart racing for a cause at Slideways Go Karting World!
The race will run to the same format as the Slideways Go Karting World Enduro Series, with each driver from the three driver teams receiving a 10 minute long qualifying session, before a 65 minute long race with compulsory stops for driver changes.
To get in the spirit of Christmas, 25% of all entry fees on the day will be donated to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal!
Slideways Christmas Cup Format:
Race day schedule – registration: 8am-8:15am, qualifying: from 8:30am, racing: 9:15am – 10:20am
Entry numbers for the race will be capped at 13.

All three-driver teams must be registered with Slideways Go Karting World prior to the event, with a deposit paid to secure a starting spot. Registrations must be made over the phone on (07) 5546 6566 (between 9am – 5pm), or you can express your interest via the form below.
Sodi World Series Registration:
All drivers are encouraged to pre-register with the Sodi World Series, which is a worldwide ranking system for hire kart centres who utilise Sodi’s European racing karts.
- Register each driver individually with the Sodi World Series
- Confirm your account with the email to your address from Sodi
- Register your team name, affiliate it with Slideways Go Karting World
- Invite your two team mates to register to your team
- Search “Slideways Go Karting World” and pre-register for the next event
Christmas Cup Rules:
All teams must consist of three drivers, with series points allocated to the team.
All three individual drivers must participate in a 10 minute qualifying session each.
The grid will be determined by the qualifying time of the starting driver, who is nominated after qualifying.
The winner of each race will be the leading driver to cross the finishing line after 65 minutes have elapsed.
There will be two compulsory pit stops for driver changes, with the pit window opening for the first stop from minutes 15-25, then for the second stop between minutes 35-45.
The opening and closing of the pit windows will be communicated to drivers on track by Slideways staff.
All driver must fasten their seat belts prior to re-entering the track from the compulsory pit stop.
All driver change pit stops must take place in the designated pit area, and drivers can only enter the race track if their helmet strap has been checked by Slideways staff.
Slideways staff will be judge of fact with regards to any driving infractions against the published and oral track rules. This includes bumping, speeding under yellow light conditions, any movement on-track under red light conditions, speeding in pit lane, jump starts, not keeping arms and legs inside the kart, and so on.
Slideways reserves the right to nominate an experienced Clerk of Course to officiate on rule matters.
There will be no fuel stops or tyre changes.
Kart changes are permissible if there are any technical issues. Karts will be issued on a random basis for qualifying and the race. All karts will be benchmark tested prior to race day.
Slideways reserves the right to alter the rules of the series. Any changes to the racing regulations will be communicated prior to the commencement of the race.
