For over 30 years, Go Karting at Slideway’s Pimpama race track only two minutes north of Dreamworld has been a top Gold Coast tourist activity.
Opened to the public in 1983 as Le Mans Go Karting, the venue has long served Gold Coast holiday makers with all of their go kart racing action, making the circuit one of the longest serving attractions on the Gold Coast.
To put things into perspective, some other places to go on the Gold Coast include:
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (opened 1953)
Seaworld (Southport, opened 1958)
Dreamworld (Coomera, opened 1981)
Go Karting World (Pimpama, opened 1983)
Wet N Wild (Oxenford, opened 1984)
Movie World (Oxenford, opened 1991)
White Water World (Coomera, opened 2006)
The circuit was totally redeveloped by Slideways in 2014 as its first outdoor race track, and since then has proven to be a hit with tourists to the area.
A starring attraction of the venue is the main 700m long Nurburgring international circuit, with it’s undulations, as well as straights where you race up to speeds 70km/h before taking on a challenging series of corners.
An awesome kart track needs the best go karts, with Go Karting World featuring a full fleet of Sodi European karts that are tuned for performance, with the latest technology backed up by highest of safety standards.
Included in the kart line up are kids karts for drivers over 120cm tall, as well as two seat go karts, which mean that young children can enjoy the thrill of racing.
Go Karting World also caters for go karting parties, with kids parties a speciality.
